Meet Brad
Brad Patty is the only republican candidate that lives in the district. He isn’t a career politician – he’s a 25-year U.S. Army veteran who has spent his entire adult life serving our country, not climbing political ladders.
Brad enlisted in the Army at 18 and retired as a Master Sergeant after 25 years of honorable service. In Iraq, he served as a combat mechanic embedded with a frontline unit, repairing Bradley Fighting Vehicles in the middle of a war zone. He carried a rifle, wore body armor, and fixed armored vehicles under the threat of enemy fire – because when those vehicles go down, the lives of his comrades are on the line.
In the Army, results mattered. Accountability mattered. Failure was not an option. After combat deployments, Brad continued his service as an instructor, training and mentoring the next generation of American soldiers. He understands leadership under pressure and knows that strong teams win when discipline, focus, and mission clarity come first.
As a devoted husband and father of six, Brad’s Christian faith has shaped his belief in servant leadership. Our leaders must answer to the people, not to political insiders.
Brad proudly supports the America First movement. He has an MBA from Liberty University and he is running for Congress to join the fight against bloated spending, weak borders, runaway inflation, and politicians who talk tough but fail to deliver.
Brad will fight to secure our borders, unleash American energy independence, instill fiscal discipline, and restore law and order. Missouri’s 5th District doesn’t need another polished politician. For decades, Washington politicians have put foreign countries, global corporations, and special interests ahead of the American people.
Brad will fight for the America First agenda. He’ll keep our borders secure, bring back strong American manufacturing, secure energy independence, and advance trade policies that prioritize American workers rather than sending jobs overseas.
Secure the Border
America is under invasion. The open border policies in Washington have allowed cartels, drugs, and criminals to pour into our country while hardworking Americans pay the price. Brad Patty spent 25 years in the U.S. Army, including leading a unit on the Korean DMZ. He knows firsthand what a secure border looks like and why it matters for national security.
In Congress, Brad will fight to finish the border wall, end catch-and-release, and restore the tough immigration policies that worked. America’s immigration system must serve American citizens first – not illegal immigrants.
Defend Life
Every child is a gift from God and deserves protection. Brad’s pro-life convictions are deeply personal. Growing up in the foster care system taught Brad firsthand that every life has value and purpose.
In Congress, Brad will stand unapologetically for the unborn, defend religious liberty, and support policies that strengthen families and protect the most vulnerable among us.
Cut taxes and Spending
Washington has a spending addiction that is crushing American families with debt and inflation. Brad believes government should live within its means just like Missouri families do.
In Congress, he will fight to cut wasteful spending, lower taxes, and unleash the free market so small businesses and workers can prosper again.
